Lying
to the north of Dahab bay, where the Sinai mountains seem to kiss
the sea, lies the Bedouin Moon Hotel. You can watch
the lazy, wind-ruffled waves of the Red Sea lap the shore from any
of its sea-view rooms or from the front terrace, where breakfast
(lunch and dinner too if you want it) are served. On a clear day,
and frankly in this part of the world it's seldom anything but,
you can see Saudi Arabia just across the water. The hotel is just
2km from the hustle and bustle of the bay area, a short walk or
even shorter taxi ride away for the lazy. Newly built features include
a yoga room, a new swimming pool, a pool bar and gardens that nesstle
at the base of the mountains.
Built
in traditional Arabic style and tastefully decorated with Bedouin-style
furnishings, the hotel was the first Bedouin-owned hotel in Dahab.
Our beachfront has sun-loungers, cushions and mats and plenty of
shade. All 26 rooms are en-suite, many with air conditioning and
unrivalled sea views across the Gulf of Aqaba. The hotel restaurant
offers Western and local food that suits Veggies and meat eaters
alike. Reception is staffed 24-hours a day. We hope you find it
a perfect setting to experience and share in the generous culture
of the Sinai Bedouin, that will make you want to return again and
again.
Although
only a modest two star hotel - it is now under the managment of
Reef2000. There are many positive changes, including
our new Pool Garden where you can relax and enjoy the best view
in Dahab. The kitchen offers a new menu combining the best of international
and middle eastern fare. The hotel still retains its friendly and
familiar atmosphere and the vast majority of our clients prefer
to stay here.
You
can also immerse yourself in the Bedouin lifestyle by going on a
Camel Safari – travel in traditional style to your favourite
dive sites! For total relaxation why not consider a Yoga Diving
Course – learn relaxation, breathing and posture techniques
that will greatly enhance your underwater experiences.

Dahab
Go Diving Package:
3
& 5 day shore diving packs with Reef 2000 – the on site
Dive centre at the Bedouin Moon hotel. Dive packs include dives
at the famous Blue Hole and Canyon dive sites. Transfers to Dive

Dahab
has long been a haven for technical divers and Reef 2000 now also
offer IANTD technical diving – right up to Instructor level.
