How
to Book: |
| TYPHOON was launched in January 2005. As with her two predecessors, Hurricane and Cyclone, her unique lines and imposing design mean that she immediately stands out on any dive site as THE boat to be on and will surely remain the market leader for many years to come. Her 33m wooden construction gives a large and stable platform from which to explore the whole of the Egyptian Red Sea. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

There has been no compromise when it comes to providing comfort for guests. The first impression is of space - lots of it. All outer areas are teak laid. The upper sundeck is almost the entire length of the ship, with ample shaded and sunbathing areas alike. She also has the most spacious dive deck and platform. One of the unique interior features is the restaurant. The circular tables and dining chairs give the ambience of a Continental Café, with an attractive spiral staircase leading up to the saloon and bar area, which is situated on the bridge deck.
Comfortable seating, plasma screen, DVD and sound system, Juice and hot drink station, and of course well stocked bar make this a popular spot to relax in the evening. Briefings and sundowners both take place on the cocktail deck, accessed from the bar or the staircase from the dive deck. There are two large twin cabins on the main deck and a similar cabin on the bridge deck, the remaining accommodation below, all with A/C and music. The design of the en-suite bathrooms has been considerably improved by separating the shower area from the other facilities. The latest Iridium Satellite communications system provides facilities for guests to use both telephone and email onboard wherever the boat is situated. Also guests will be able to be reached, if required, by their home or office. Each guest will then have their own account and will be invoiced at the end of the trip. Also Tornado Marine operations will be able to determine the exact location of Typhoon at anytime. The dive deck is fully equipped to cater for all diving needs, scuba or technical, open circuit or re-breathers, photo or video. Features include; tanks filled in situ, air-drying for cameras, nitrox membrane, Inspiration tanks, pony cylinders, sofno lime and 15 litre tanks are available by request and are subject to additional charge. Onboard Medical Oxygen Supply Systems are now approved by London Hyperbaric Medicine, who have also trained dive staff in Advanced Life Support and First aid. Each vessel is now equipped with hand held radios to enable communication between the main boat and all of the dive tenders. There are two spacious 4.8m RIBs with protected drives and centre consoles and a smaller inflatable for use by the crew. Why
Typhoon? This boat is not only luxurious but has been designed
by people who really know Liveaboard diving. With our top dive team and
excellent food Typhoon provides the ultimate Red Sea adventure. |
